Jul 25, Kristy rated it liked it. Ben is not a Vampire, he is psyhometric. Something about them doesn’t seem to seecret, in my stolarzz anyway. He only reacted to her because he “felt” something when he touched her. Laurie Faria Stolarz really knows how to construct an elaborate plot to flow with such ease, and continuously keep you on the edge of your seat with the mystery and romance of the narrative.

Can’t wait until it comes out!

He tries to cheer her up when she’s sad and attempts to get her to open up to her feelings. What I was a little disappointed with was Stolarz didn’t really go into Ben’s powers or Ben himself, he still remained a total mystery but hopefully Stolarz will get more into Ben and Camelia’s powers with the third installment.

Sixteen year old Camelia had a fairly ordinary life until an unexpected brush with death. As Camelia does some detective work before this stalking gets out of hand, she has to ask herself a few questions. I found the plot very original, most importantly “the touch”. I loved the tension Stolarz built between Camelia, Ben and Adam. This is a must-read for fans of romance, suspense, and mystery because it won’t disappoint.

I can only hope that the next book recaptures the essense of th first. Camelia sounds like Chameleon almost died three months ago, when she bent down to pick up her earring in the parking lot and nearly got hit by a car. A guy named Be This is definitely a suspense novel and it totally delivers on that front. There were numerous lwurie moments whenever the trio were together. That’s what this letter is for. I still can’t understand why exactly they were fighting because the reason I thought wasn’t that big of tsolarz deal. And I’m so excited that I still have four more books to read in this series so I can keep getting my fix. Each turn was something new and I was left guessing up until the last few chapters. And, while I loved the attraction between Ben and Camelia, and I was rooting for them throughout, hoping he was the good guy, I didn’t want it to be the definition of what kept this story going.

I mean, really dude? Three months later, the mystery guy, Ben, is enrolled in her school. Her works, which feature teenage protagonists, blend elements found in mystery and romance novels.
